San Miguel de Allende is a colorful, charming, small town in central Mexico filled with cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and amazing food. It’s known for its vibrant culture, lively atmosphere, and stunning, colorful views around every corner.

 

We chose to have our wedding in San Miguel because it feels warm, festive, and full of life; basically the perfect place for our wedding celebration! In March, the weather is sunny during the day and cool at night, making it ideal for spending time outdoors and celebrating together.

There are several daily flights into nearby airports, and from there we recommend arranging transportation to San Miguel (see below). Also, most hotels in San Miguel are very happy to help set up transportation for you from the airport if you prefer to have their help in scheduling. Once you’re in town, everything is very walkable. Taxis and Ubers are also easy and inexpensive, so there’s no need to rent a car.
